Grandma Woffinden

My grandma Woffinden died this last week. She was 95 and lived a GREAT life. She was loved by alot of people. My favorite memory of her was that she always played alot of games. One time I was over at her house playing a game with her. The game we played was where she thought of a number and we had to guess the number and whoever was closest got a small piece of candy. I remember that almost every number she thought of I guessed it right on! She said "How do you keep doing that?" Grandma was pretty competative when it came to games and didn't like losing. :) She is also where I got my love for music. She played the violin for over 70 years and taught herself the piano and organ. Played for years and years and years. Even at 95 she still played in the Chapel at the temple every week. I love her so much. I am not sad, although I will miss her. I am happy that she got to reunite with Grandpa. He's been waiting for her for over 30 years. I sure love her and can't wait to see her again.

Cute New Pictures

Janae

So Janae has been in China teaching English to Elementary school kids for about 2 1/2 months now. I miss her. I sometimes find myself getting emotional at how much I really do miss my little sister. But then in the other hand, I couldn't be more proud of my sister for what she is doing than what she is doing now. I am so happy to have her be in China doing something that is needed and something that she can learn so much from. I love you Jonesy!

We went with my parents and siblings to October Fest and then we went to the site where they got all the granite for the Salt Lake Temple. It was alot fun. Cold, but fun.

Karen's Wedding

Karen's wedding was on Oct. 8th. It was a great day. I was happy and suprised to see that their sealer was Josh and I's sealer. It was really cool. I don't know if it was just pregnancy hormones or whatever but it was a little emotional for me. Just to see my little sister getting married for eternity and making the right choices in her life in order to do that. It was really cool.

Just boring stuff

There hasn't been too much going on in my life. I have been working and working and working. My boss has been out for a week now and still have 2 more days with me being boss. It's harder than I thought. I don't feel like the people at work see me as a boss, which is hard when they don't listen to me or give me attitude. I don't know how to get over it. Oh well.....
No luck on any babies for me yet. I am happy tho. I am not on so much medication, because my body is starting to work again.
Josh is doing good. Really liking working days! I love it!! Porter is my little stud muffin. He is talking ALOT and loves being with family and he loves going to school. He doesn't like nursery so much. But he's a fun little boy that needs a little brother or sister.
Other than the same-ol-same-old that's our life. Not too exciting, but keeping busy!

4th of July weekend

We had a great holiday. I love this holiday. It's my favorite. I love that there are men and women who are heroes, and that we get to honor them. I'm not saying this just because my husband and brother served in the military but I respect every single person who can choose to defend our country. I think it takes such a strong person to know that they might die defending our freedoms. I love this holiday.
We spent Friday at the Zoo and on Saturday we went to a parade, and had a BBQ and fireworks. It was a super fun and slightly exhausting weekend.

We are happy and healthy. Josh is working days now, I am SO happy! He likes it, just wishes that the night shift guys were on days too. But he really likes working days. Porter is 19 months! Wow time flies! Everything seems to be falling into place and working out for us. I can't complain.
Dave and Veancha came out this last week. Porter has a new best friend. Kairi and Porter did EVERYTHING together and had to be with each other all the time. Porter is sad she's gone now. Here are some cute pictures.

It's been a month

It's been a month since I have written, actually over a month. I have been super busy with work. I love it. It's hard and exhausting taking care of 8 kids everyday. Porter moved up a class so he isn't in my class anymore. :( Sad day, but it's okay. I know Porter will be just fine and I'm excited for him to be my "big boy".

Josh still loves his job and has been there for over a year already! Man, time flies. He is getting ready for school in the fall, and trying to get everything ready. A new GI bill came out and it applies to him. We may get more help paying for school and books than we thought! Yay!!

As for baby plans...still working on it. My body is starting to work like it should again which means we are hoping to get pregnant soon. We've also been thinking about being Foster parents. We don't know much about it at all, but are seriously thinking about it.

Here are some cute pictures of our little boy and a new one of the fam.

Updates

I haven't written for a while. Sorry. Things have been going good for us. I started my new job and love it! It's more like a preschool than a daycare. We have to come up with lesson plans and have a curriculum to abide by, even at Porter's age. I am a co-teacher for the 9-18 months. We get to do art projects, discovery tables, we go outside twice a day to play, we do singing and counting, and Porter is loving every minute! His behavior has changed as well, he doesn't whine nearly as much as he did at the other place. I love this new job!
Josh has been working and working! He is wanting to start school in the fall and getting ready for that is alot of work. He needs to take the ACT, which he's been studying for, and get all his military credits transferred....he's a busy man! I am so proud of him though. He is such a great daddy and an even better husband, and such an awesome example. I love him so much.
Porter is a walking machine. He is never still and has a TON of energy! He is starting to say some words (although hard to understand) like......Josh, Jesus, Grandma, Whoa, Wow, and the ones he's been saying for a while now sound even more clear.....Mom, Daddy, Cool....It's awesome to see the growth and love from such a little boy. :)
We are hoping for another baby soon. (no, I'm not pregnant) We are working with the doctor (for me) and hope that we can get pregnant soon. Just started Clomid this week. Hopefully that helps the problems I've been having.
We love our primary job, teaching CTR 6. There are 9 kids who come every week! It's sure a handful, but we love it. We are so happy with our choices in life right now and are mostly happy that we are together.

The lollipop

Porter loved his lollipop! It was way too big and turned into a drooling mess, but it sure made for good pictures. :)

Happy Birthday Josh

Josh's birthday was on the 4th! He turned a quarter of a century this year! We had a good day. I gave him a small over night trip to Wendover. The morning of his birthday I made a little treasure hunt for him to find out that on Friday we would go on a little trip just the two of us. His birthday night we had family over for cake and ice cream. I made a cake that was decorated like a quarter. His birthday was fun but I couldn't wait till he could get his present in two days! We had a really good time in Wendover. Josh is amazing at blackjack. He loves playing and would love to have enough money to play the high rolling tables. He started with $40 and walked away with $110! We got a hotel and had a king bed. We decided that those beds are way too big, we probably won't ever get one, you can't snuggle cuz they are so big! It was a fun time to just be alone. Happy Birthday Josh!

Porter is the cutest baby ever!

Here is a super cute picture of my little guy. I also have a video of him walking. I can't upload it...sorry.

Some things that Porter can do:
says cool, mom, dad, more, hi, and some things we can't understand.
signs please, doggie, touchdown, (working on thank you)
can walk
tries hard to put his shoes "on"
knows what my parents house looks like and loves hanging out with aunts and uncles
very happy baby
gives hugs and kisses when asked
loves to brush his teeth
can dance when asked
destroys all organization in a few seconds flat
and....
my favorite, holds the phone like he is talking to someone saying "hi"

Saint George visit

Josh had a job interview on Friday down in Saint George. Jer and Lacie were so sweet and let us stay with them Thursday and Friday night. I loved getting to know Lacie. She is a really cool person. I hope that we get to be better friends as time goes......I'm so glad that we got time to talk.

Josh did great on his interview. They offered him the job!! He couldn't accept though. They wanted to pay us $5.00 less than what we get now. The guy is a new manager and said he would keep Josh's resume if anything changes. We just feel so good about moving there though. We are hoping that something comes up. We know that the Lord will do whatever he needs to for our family to be able to move there if it's right for us.
I loved seeing little Jac. He is such a cute and always happy baby. Probably the cutest nephew I have. It sure was fun!

Auntie Janae

Janae got to come home for the holidays. It was really fun to see her for more than just a short weekend. She's grown up so much and I love the person she is becoming. (Jones, I loved you before too). I'm so proud of the choices that she is making and what she is starting to think is important in life is awesome. I look up to my little sister in alot of ways. We love you Janae!! Also....Happy Birthday (on the 8th). :)

New Picture

We have a new family picture. We just posed real quick, It didn't mean to be so cute....but it is. :)
